
About Olivia Grant
Olivia is an integrative counsellor who works from a client-centred perspective, drawing on a range of therapeutic models to support individuals in developing self-awareness and growing from their experiences. Olivia’s practice is primarily informed by Person-Centred Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), alongside training in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) skills. Olivia is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Olivia works with clients to help them in gaining a deeper understanding of their experiences at their own pace. She is committed to providing a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space where clients can feel heard and supported. She assists clients in identifying helpful ways of coping, using a range of therapeutic tools tailored to clients’ individual needs.
Olivia Grant's Experience
Olivia has a wealth of experience working with and supporting children, young people and young adults, across a range of settings. Olivia has 10 years of experience working in Children and Adolescents Mental Health Services, as well as roles in charitable and community services, including school-based counselling, addiction services and domestic abuse support.
Olivia is experienced in working with developmental change and the ways early patterns can continue into adult life. Olivia values thoughtful, collaborative therapy and brings a trauma-informed, compassionate approach to my work.
Olivia’s practice is informed by a variety of therapeutic approaches including CBT and DBT. Olivia also has experience as a low-intensity CBT supervisor to support supervisees, supporting them to develop their clinical skills and confidence in line with evidence-based practice.
