About Lindsay Riley
Lindsay is an integrative psychotherapist with post-graduate diploma in psychotherapeutic counselling, MSc in Psychology, in addition to being a qualified supervisor. Lindsay is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, and the British Psychological Society. She has also trained in DBT and also holds a City & Guilds Certificate in education and training.
Lindsay works with clients to develop a trusting and secure relationship to assist clients in exploring their challenges in a supportive and non-judgemental approach. As an integrative psychotherapist, Lindsay combines many different theories to support clients.
Lindsay Riley's Experience
Lindsay has a wealth of experience of working young people with anxiety, depression and mental health conditions, in addition to adults with an array of mental health conditions. Lindsay is experienced in working with clients who have experienced childhood and adult trauma, in addition to complex mental health conditions. Her approach is sensitive, focusing on stabilisation and works with a number of trauma informed models, psychoeducation and DBT. Furthermore, her practice is informed by a variety of therapeutic approaches including Attachment and CBT.
As one of our DBT trainers, Lindsay works with our skills groups for DBT treatment in addition to working with individuals. Alongside her work with Home Counties she also provides counselling training at an education centre and previously worked within the charity and commercial sector.
Lindsay offers a practical and individual approach to therapy and supporting clients on their path to wellbeing.
